Joyce Murdoch is a former reporter and editor for the Washington Post. She spent a decade as managing editor of National Journal, the preeminent political magazine of Washington, and more recently was an editor in charge of staff training at the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. She was also a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT, an affiliate at the Nieman Fellowship Program at Harvard and a Hoover Institution Media Fellow at Stanford. Earlier, she founded and ran a DC-based news service for her home state of Georgia.
