Have you ever considered having an intern work for you but have no idea what that requires or how to find an intern?   Perhaps you could use an intern this summer?  We can help!   This month’s Early Bird Breakfast on March 28th will feature a panel of representatives from area colleges and universities who will inform us about internship opportunities and the steps to take if you would like to have an intern working for you.  We will also meet a business that has hosted interns and a former intern who will share his experience.  

 

Offering internships is not only a great way to increase your workforce and capacity, it’s a great way to increase the workforce of our region!   Students who intern during their college experience are more apt to remain in our community after college.   Interns can bring new ideas, energy, perspective and enthusiasm to your business.  Who knows, perhaps they will become your next best employee!
