Five decades ago, Dow Air Force Base anchored Bangor's economy. Today, 44 years after its closing, the infrastructure left behind continues to drive economic activity in our region. Learn about the history of the base and how Bangor still reaps benefits from its existence. A panel of experts will provide an interesting outlook and great conversation: Jim Apostolides, plant manager, GE; Doug Farnham, operations group commander, Air National Guard; and David Bergquist, Dow AFB historian.
