Carol Epstein, President of Epstein Commercial Real Estate
Carol has enjoyed a successful career in commercial real estate.
Her brokerage company, Epstein Commercial Real Estate, has structured countless deals for sales and leases throughout the state over the last 35 years. Some of the team’s recent visible sales include the former Verizon building to a developer for PCHC, the former Bangor Daily News building to Cross Insurance, and the sale of the former Lowe’s to Jackson Lab in Ellsworth; recent leases include Five Guys, Christmas Tree Shoppes, and Chipotle. Carol still enjoys the hunt and takes great pleasure connecting buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in deals that work for all parties.
Her family started in the movie theatre business in 1916 and transitioned into commercial real estate in the 1950’s . Her development company, Epstein Properties, has developed and manages an extensive portfolio of commercial properties in the greater Bangor marketplace. Some of these include Key Plaza, Brewer Shopping Center, and the UPS distribution center in Brewer.
Carol has been active in the real estate industry as a real estate commissioner, broker of the year for the Maine Commercial/Investment Association of REALTORS, and a Director Emeritus of the Maine Real Estate Development Association. A Bangor native, Carol lives and works in Bangor’s revitalized downtown.
