Watch Me Shine began as a small early intervention program for children with special needs and has evolved into a large childcare center and therapy program. Watch Me Shine is now a superior preschool, child care, and multi-therapy service for young children. Our mission is to create a new type of specialized learning environment that is developmentally appropriate by offering holistic care that is individualized, evidenced-based, and bolsters relationship building skills while providing the educational tools necessary to allow a child to achieve their greatest potential. Watch Me Shine is seeking a full-time Speech & Language Pathologist to work at our school in Bangor. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a talented team of over 60 dedicated professionals, that take pride in delivering the highest quality of services to our children. We are looking for a caring, creative, energetic, hardworking, and responsible individual who enjoys working with children. The SLP will be providing speech & language services to preschool and school-aged children.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Establish a strong rapport with the children
  • Play a vital role in evaluating client’s abilities and needs.
  • Develop speech & language goals and programming tailored to each individual client.
  • Provide both individual and group therapy in a school-based setting.
The SLP should have experience:
  • Working with toddlers and school-age children.
  • Working independently as well as collaboratively with a team of providers.
  • Working in a team approach setting to provide service carryover and wrap around.
  • Writing detailed notes and documentation as well as providing input on clients for IEPs.
Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Watch Me Shine will provide supervision for CFY candidates.
