We are looking for Clinicians to serve our In-patient population for both our Pediatric and Adult units.  As an Inpatient Clinician, you will work in a unique clinical setting that provided opportunities for exposure to multitude of diagnostic categories, access to learning with Psychiatrists and daily consultation with Supervisor.  Learning skills to treat acute instability will provide Clinicians with confidence and competence to excel further in their clinical Careers.

New Grads -        Work and train in a paid position while awaiting clinical licensure.  Once clinical licensure is                                       “active” you change positions to a Psychiatric Clinician immediately without much change in your                       daily work you have been learning.

Job Summary: The inpatient clinician works within a fast-paced and dynamic environment as a key member of an Interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurses to conduct evaluations, provide clinical formulations, and direct therapeutic interventions to acute pediatric or adult populations using individual, group and family therapy modalities. They are skilled in stabilizing acute mental health needs in patients through connection with patients, their families, and other providers. As enthusiastic learners, the inpatient clinician actively pursues research and knowledge to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, outcome-informed practice while adhering to key components of Acadia's inpatient treatment model.
