Jobs: Director of Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer

Positions are located in: Bangor, Blue Hill, and/or South Portland

Work Type: Full Time / 40 Hour Weekly / 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Director of Philanthropy Summary: Highly experienced fundraising position with leadership and/or consultative focus on planned giving, capital fundraising and major gift work, and secondary focus on other initiatives identified by management. Focus of work at Mercy Hospital, the largest MO in southern Maine.

Major Gifts Officer Summary: The Regional Major Gift Officer plays a critical role in expanding and growing philanthropic support for Northern Light Health and its member organizations by focusing on prospect and donor relationships in assigned geographic areas. This position has a primary focus on major gift work and capital campaigns, and other funding priorities as identified by NLH and hospital leadership.

Northern Light Health Foundation is a team of experienced philanthropy professionals committed to supporting Northern Light Health’s mission across ten hospitals, 35 primary care locations, and statewide Home Care & Hospice services. Our roughly 30 team members work closely with one another to benefit from each other’s extensive experience in major gifts, annual giving, grants and foundations, planned giving, events, and more. Experience:
