Grant 6 (Med Surg) Nurse Manager (BLS and BSN required)
The Manager of Grant 6 Nursing has fiscal and operational responsibility and accountability for standards of care and service within Grant 6. He/she provides leadership for improving patient care, planning, staff performance, systems improvements, and teaching. Works with the Medical Director to develop and evaluate standards of care and practice for identified patient populations. The Manager of Grant 6 participates in the setting and implementation of the organization's goals, priorities, and strategies and works with other disciplines and groups to provide the highest quality of care across the system. The Manager of Grant 6 is responsible for the development of staff within their department.
Assistant Nurse Manager- Emergency Department (FT Nights- BLS and BSN required)
Assistant Nurse Manager - M3 Medical Surgical Unit (FT - BLS and BSN required)
Responsible for shift operations of a nursing unit. In collaboration with Nurse Manager, responsible for operations of a nursing unit. In the absence of nurse manager, assumes operational departmental responsibilities.
