ERA Dawson-Bradford One of Nine Finalists for Top ERA Honor

Bangor agency also has two agents up for individual awards at annual convention

BANGOR, ME – ERA Dawson Bradford Co. is one of nine finalists for the 2019 ERA Real Estate Gene Francis Memorial Award. The award is ERA’s recognition for the “Top All-Around Company,” and is the company’s highest honor. The award is named after Gene Francis, co-founder of ERA Real Estate.

“In Maine we work a little harder, and we take a lot of pride in what we do,” said Julie Dawson Williams, Broker/Owner & Chief Operating Officer of ERA Dawson Bradford Co. REALTORS. “Still, to earn this finalist status for ERA’s top honor is humbling, yet not surprising. Our team works overtime to ensure we are delivering the best possible service and knowledge to our customers. We’d be delighted to win and to bring this award home to Maine, but just being named in the same category as eight other amazing ERA affiliates is an honor.”

Agencies considered for the Gene Francis Memorial Award must meet a set of criteria determined by the company, including a total performance increase over five years, customer satisfaction results, support of local charities, and exceptional market performance as determined by state.

Sherry Chris, president and CEO at ERA Real Estate said in an e-mail that the finalists “represent the best of ERA demonstrating a commitment to leadership, company growth, brand advocacy, overall business acumen and a culture of service within their communities.”

The eight other finalists are as nearby as Manchester, CT, and as far away as Temecula, CA. The field of nine will be narrowed down to five before a winner is announced at ERA’s annual convention on Monday, March 23 in Nashville.

In addition to the Gene Francis Memorial Award, individual awards will be announced at the annual ERA convention in March. Pauline Rock of ERA Dawson Bradford is one of three finalists for the 2019 Top Sales Associate Award, serving 100 clients; and Gus Ofili of ERA Dawson Bradford is one of three finalists for the 2019 Rookie of the Year Award, helping 50 clients close on their homes.
