Community Care is a private non-profit (501 (3) c) agency that serves youth, families and adults in the state of Maine who are affected by, or who are living with mental health/behavioral, trauma/abuse/neglect, and/or poverty issues. We believe that all individuals can realize their fullest potential and life satisfaction. Further, we believe that we can support them to achieve their goals by joining with them in a respectful and positive manner as we provide the treatment, interventions, guidance, and supports. Community Care recognizes that our staff are our greatest asset as we work together to achieve both client and community goals.

Community Care provides a wide variety of services across the state for adults, children and families to assist them in realizing their goals. Services include Mental Health Counseling, Adult and Children's Case Management, In-Home Support, Independent Living Program for transition-aged youth, and Home and Community Treatment (HCT). Community Care also recruits, trains and supports treatment level foster parents in caring for youth in the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services.
