"More than 1 out of 4 people over the age of 65 experience a fall, and falling even once doubles your chance of falling again. In fact, 40% of people admitted to a hospital for a fall will never return to living Independently again. These are stark statistics”, said, Benjamin Smith, Clinic Liaison. "FYZICAL has a model that Is focused on preventative therapy to avoid falls all together. If you are unsteady on your feet or have unexplained dizziness, we can help - before you fall".

To commemorate the new FYZICAL location in Bangor, the clinic is holding a pet food and supply drive to benefit Eastern Area Agency on Aging’s Furry Friends Food Bank. Eastern Area Agency on Aging is dedicated to preserving the special bond between older adults and their pets by providing pre-packaged standardized bags of pet food and basic pet care supplies to low-income older adults monthly through the Furry Friends Food Bank (FFFB).
"Thank you so much for supporting Furry Friends Food Bank", said Kelly Adams, Nutrition Manager, Eastern Area Agency on Aging. "This program means a lot to me and the almost 400 low-income older adults that we serve every month. Pet food drives like these are crucial to sustaining our program as we hand out 12,000 pounds of pet food and litter every month".

FYZICAL Twin City Bangor will be collecting pet food and supplies at their clinic at 31 Bangor Mall Blvd., Bangor from now through the end of April. Donors can drop these supplies off Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.
