Northern Light Pharmacy on State Street is moving later next year

BREWER, Maine (July 18, 2024) — Northern Light Pharmacy located at 210 State Street in Bangor is moving down the road. The new facility will be located across from Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in a newly constructed, modernized building that will include updates to best meet the needs of their customers and the pharmacy team. The new building will be located on the corner of State and Otis Streets.
Matt Marston, PharmD, vice president and chief pharmacy officer, Northern Light Health, shared, “We are very excited for the plans of our new pharmacy to open later next year. While our current location has served us well, our new location will allow for more convenient parking, enhancements to the prescription pick-up drive-through, as well as more private spaces for patient consultation. In addition, the modernized design will allow for better workflow and efficiencies for our team of employees and a revitalized environment for our patients. We will also continue offering our current specialized services such as compounding, prescription home delivery, and our bedside medication delivery programs for patients being discharged from the hospital.”
Pharmacy leadership currently do not have an exact date of when the new pharmacy will open. However, they anticipate breaking ground this winter with an opening later in 2025. Updates will be provided to the public as new information is available.
